A lot of people and customers have been asking, “Should I upgrade to Windows 10?”  Heres what I’ve been telling them.  “If its your home computer and you have good current backups, go for it.”  To my business customers I take a more conservative approach in my answer.  Not yet.  I tell them “Lets wait until at least the first service pack or 1 calendar year after the release, whichever comes later.”.  The reason being, many businesses rely not only on Microsoft software installed on their systems, but a variety of other 3rd party software applications, Printer Drivers and other devices critical to their daily business operations.  Its always prudent to let time iron out the inevitable issues that come with a brand new OS.  This gives Microsoft time to address bugs, security issues and enhance usability pieces in their OS.  It also gives the other 3rd party vendors time to release program updates, driver updates and fixes of their own.
